Readsboro's Independence Day Parade

Every year, the heart of Readsboro comes alive as neighbors, families, and community groups take to Main Street for one of southern Vermont's most cherished traditions. From hand-built floats to marching groups, decorated wagons to proud local organizations, the Readsboro Independence Day Parade is a celebration of everything that makes this little town special.

Float prizes are awarded for the best entries — $125, $100, and $75 — so get creative and show your Readsboro pride!

Whether you're entering a float, marching with your group, or just want to be part of the action, we'd love to have you. Parade lineup begins at 10:00am at Readsboro Central School, 301 Phelps Lane with the parade stepping off at 11:00am on Main Street.
